Your Arteries Aren’t Supposed to Be Rigid

In the United States the drug industry is only interested in profit, that comes from treatment. They are not interested in a cure, or there would be a cure for heart disease, high blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes. Most folks that took high school biology knows these are all symptoms. They also know that the normally flexible muscles of the heart and blood vessel walls have become hardened by the sticky substance that has hardened like cement. Making them hard yet the researchers do not look for something that will remove the harden substance called plaque.
They are only concerned with developing a new drug to treat the symptoms.
The same is true for diabetes. There is no research into helping the pancreas produce new or more Beta Cells. The drug industry has a Golden Fleece as no one has considered the Incretins and how they function to stimulate the Beta Cells to produce more insulin.
The insurance industry is also not interested in the development of a cure for these symptoms or any other as evidence has shown Insurance companies enoin denying coverages such that one company denied 31 billion dollars in claims and that just was the profit they claimed for one year.
The United States needs to adopt a Universal Healthcare system similar to what many other countries have.
The FDA needs to monitor and regulate both prescription drugs and over the counter drugs to ensure they do what they are made and sold to do.
Researchers goal must be for a cure and not just for the profit motivation.
